About Sentmo
Data-driven trading tools. Built by a developer who trades himself and writes his own algos.
Sven Pflüger
Software developer and active trader based in Freiburg, Germany. I develop trading algorithms, build data pipelines, and write the code that powers Sentmo — from Cloudflare Worker to React frontend.
Sentmo was born because as a trader I needed reliable sentiment data — and found nothing that was fast, free, and worked without registration. So I built it myself. The data comes from ESMA-regulated brokers, processing runs on proprietary infrastructure.
What I bring to the table
Why Sentmo exists
70 to 80 percent of retail traders lose money long-term — according to ESMA. That's not an opinion, it's a regulatory disclosure. The question that interested me: if the crowd is wrong so often, can their positioning be used as a signal?
The data was publicly available — visible from ESMA-regulated brokers. But nobody had aggregated it, calculated the 24-hour change, or visualized it. So I built it. Sentmo is the tool I wished I had as a trader.
Long-term, Sentmo will become a trading platform. In development: an AI-powered Trading Co-Pilot and Performance Tracking. Planned: a Backtesting Engine for strategy testing against historical sentiment data. All with the same principle: data over opinions.
